Southwest Tech #1 — Kick-off

I suspect there are a lot of people in the Dunsborough–Busselton–Margaret River region who are into technology — building things, running home labs, writing code, tinkering with hardware, following where AI is heading, or just genuinely curious about what’s next. Technology has never been more accessible or more front-of-mind than it is right now, and the southwest is full of people quietly doing interesting things with it.

This is our experiment to bring them all together.

This first meetup is simple: show up, say hello, and tell us a bit about what you’re working on or interested in. No slides, no agenda, no pressure. Just good conversation with people who get it.

Whether you’ve been in the southwest for years or just landed here — you’re welcome.

What to expect

A relaxed gathering in Busselton. Arrive when you like, leave when you like. There’ll be a loose theme of introductions — what you do, what you’re into, what brought you to the region.

Venue

To be confirmed, and honestly — it’ll depend on numbers. Ideally we’ll make a booking somewhere suitable, but if it’s a smaller group we may just find a spot with enough space and settle in. We’re playing this as we go, and suggestions are always welcome — if you know a good place, let us know.

RSVP on Lu.ma → You'll get venue details and a reminder once confirmed.
